NE. School adds additional security after shooting

Lincoln Southwest High School has added a fourth security officer in the aftermath of the deadly shooting at Millard South High School by a former Southwest student.

On Jan. 5, Robert Butler Jr. walked into Millard South and shot an associate principal and the principal. The associate principal later died of her injuries. Butler, who in October had transferred to Millard South from Southwest and had been suspended the morning of the shooting, killed himself a few blocks away.
