NC. Students charged with fighting

Last Thursday, several students were taken into custody after a series of fights at Parkland High School.

Winston-Salem police officers were called to assist the School Resource Officer (SRO) around 2:00 p.m. as several fights were taking place at the school.

When officers arrived, students had poured into the hallways as they exited classrooms and the cafeteria.

Tuesday, Winston-Salem Police released the charges file against the teenage students. In all, 10 students were charged.

Five were charged with: Failure to Disperse and Disorderly Conduct. Five other students were charged with Disorderly Conduct
