Cumberland County resource officers arrested two students from Jack Britt High School after a fight broke out on the school’s campus Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say 16-year-old Antonio Skeete and 16-year-old Teron Rutledge were arrested after they began fighting in front of the school shortly after 1 p.m.

Skeete, who continued to fight and advance aggressively toward a sheriff’s deputy, was tased and taken into custody.

Skeete and Rutledge are charged with resist, delay and obstruction of justice and simple affray. Both are being processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Authorities say bond has not yet been determined.

It is unknown if school officials will seek disciplinary action against the teens.

The reason for the scuffle has not been released.
