NC. Salisbury HS. Chairs Thrown, Principal Assaulted in HS Fight

SALISBURY – Two teenage brothers have been arrested after police say they sparked a fight at Henderson Independent High School where chairs were thrown and school officials were assaulted.

Police say the fight was in the cafeteria, which at first involved 16-year-old Omari Badger and another student. When officials tried to intervene, Badger threw chairs and then refused to listen to police instructions to be handcuffed.

That’s when WBTV is told Omari’s older brother, 18-year-old Tyree Badger, got involved, punching the assistant principal in the side of the face.
Omari Badger was charged with one count of resisting arrest and one count of disorderly conduct.

Tyree Badger was charged with one count of resisting arrest and one count of assault on a government official.
