MI. Student, Safety Officer maced during fight at high school

Two students at Kalamazoo Central High School were arrested Wednesday afternoon after a Public Safety Officer was hit trying to break up a fight.

School administrators say a Kalamazoo Public Safety Officer was hit by a student during the altercation, and additional officers were called to the scene.

Officers used mace to disburse the students involved, which affected one of the students and a Campus Safety Officer.

School administrators say no weapons were involved in the fight, and the only student that was injured was the one that was maced.
