SCHOOL DID NOT TAKE ACTION AS STUDENT WAS BADLY BEATEN AT SCHOOL.
A Paulding County couple said Monday that they blamed the school system for not taking action after their son was badly beaten at school. The couple said their 15-year-old was attacked by another student in the locker room where there was no supervision.
The teen’s parents said he was punched and knocked unconscious while other students who were around did nothing to stop the fight. The altercation was caught on a student’s cell phone camera.
Selena and David Harelson said the school system failed to protect my child. Their son was jumped by another student, knocked unconscious and left badly injured with a face fracture. “To know my child was beaten enough to have his face broken. On the day of the fight the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said the officer assigned to the school was tied up with another matter away from the campus. Full Story.
