FL. Melody school fight leads to broken jaw

Live Oak teen was arrested after a fight broke out on the basketball courts at Melody Christian Academy, according to Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office report.

According to the report, on April 17, at approximately 1 p.m., MCA student Steffon Breedlove, 19, 7814 103rd Rd., Live Oak, and the victim, a fellow student, were playing basketball at MCA. The victim said Breedlove became very angry due to him taking the basketball away. Breedlove allegedly pushed him into a corner against a cement wall and began to strike him several times in the face and body with his fist.

Teachers at the school were able to stop the fight.

The victim was taken to Shands Live Oak Regional Medical Center for treatment for several abrasions to the back and face. He also suffered a broken jaw and swollen right ear.
