DE. Police arrest Cape Henlopen HS student after fight

Delaware State Police on Thursday, Feb. 2 arrested a 15-year-old Cape Henlopen High School student and filed several charges against him after a fight, according to a press release.

The fight happened shortly after 2 p.m. at the school, which is at 1250 Kings Highway in Lewes.

The student, whose name wasn’t released because he is a juvenile, was charged with six counts each of terroristic threatening, offensive touching, menacing and one count of disorderly conduct.

Teachers and administrators broke up the fight, which happened on one of the second floor hallways, but the boy allegedly kept trying to strike other students and threatening “to shoot up and kill everyone at the school,” according to the press release.
