PA. Student charged with attempted rape by knife force at Pennridge High School

A 15-year-old Pennridge High School student was arrested Friday morning after police allege he displayed a knife and forced a female student into a bathroom in an attempt to sexually assault her.

Pennridge Regional police responded to Pennridge High School, 1228 N. Fifth St., East Rockhill, at 6:43 a.m. Friday, according to a release from the police department.

A 15-year-old male student allegedly displayed a knife and forced a 15-year-old female student into the men’s bathroom in an attempt to sexually assault her, according to police. A teacher intervened, and the student then allegedly threatened the teacher, according to police.
The student was taken into police custody and faces charges of attempted rape, sexual assault, false imprisonment, possession of a weapon and simple assault, according to police.

The 15-year-old will be charged as an adult, according to police.
